Recreation/Races Coined “A Sunday run you’ll never forget,” the Lake Tahoe Marathon will bring upwards of 3,000 racers to Lake Tahoe September 22-26 to run the 26.2 miles down the West Shore, along with a host of other events, including a 10K, 5K, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay, 20-Mile Walk/Jog, Kids Fun Run, Speed Golf and Triathlon.

10pm ~ The Denver five-piece Kinetix bills themselves as a funk-pop-jazz group, but their latest album, Talking to Faces, just might have fans looking in the rock section of the music store for their disc. While the band still holds on to the orchestration and roots that originally gave them that classification, Talking to Faces stretches it more into the rock realm.

9pm ~ Yard Dogs Road Show is a thirteen-member traveling cabaret that features a unique blend of performances, including vaudeville, burlesque, stage magic, sideshow oddities, and beatnik "hobo poetry." Performances include musical interludes, song and dance numbers, and background music from the Yard Dogs cartoon heavy band.

9pm ~ Digging deep and giving it all in everything they do Chicago's Lubriphonic specialize in a unique offering of funky rock n' roll. 10pm Jon Wayne’s musical journey has driven him from the frigid cold of North Dakota to the lush warmth of his Jamaican influences, with a few detours thrown in along the way.
